Website Creation Process

One of our representatives will meet with you to discuss the creation of your website. At this initial meeting we will discuss

• general content
• number of pages required - see 'what pages do i need?'
• whether photographs are needed
• what style of website will suit your needs and business best
• timeframe for completion

As you know more about your business than we do, the best person to gather the content is you. We will of course assist you in this, in areas such as

• the type of content
• editing - we may edit content slightly if necessary for optimal web performance

For those who wish it we are capable of generating content for most sites. This will be done on an agreed hourly rate but can be speeded up by supplying us with company brochures or hand written notes. Most website use a combination of the pages described in 'what pages do I need?'

Once we receive your text content, we will then move further on in the design process. It, of course, helps us greatly if we know what you like. Feel free to inspire us by naming other websites, artists or even other company literature, so that we can get a feel for your style. You could also view our premade sample designs for inspiration.

The next step is for us to

• design a navigation system
• design the look, feel and style of the website
• incorporate company logo and colours

At this stage you can view the design and navigation structure. We can then discuss any changes that may be required to the design & navigation. Once the design & navigation have been agreed we will sign off on the design phase and commence site creation.

Having agreed the style of the website, we will now finish the site by

• inserting text content
• creating contact forms if required (at no extra cost)
• taking photographs if necessary
• reserving a .com or .net domain name for you
• hosting your site

At this stage you may make changes to the site content. Once the content has been agreed we will sign off on the website creation phase and commence handover.

On site completion we will

• submit your site to search engines
• forward your hosting name and password to you
• transfer copyright of the completed website to you

• We are always available in the event that changes need to be made to your site.
• The website hosting and the domain registration are paid annually. 1 month before the domain name and hosting space are due to be renewed we will send you a reminder for the amount due.
